Pre and post-op OCT of a macular hole surgery. The hole was successfully sealed in this patient, however he could not feel any improvement in visual acuity. That can sometimes be observed in long-standing macular holes or when there was previously enough photoreceptor dysfunction. 

This patient had 10 monthly intravitreal injections of Avastin in the left eye. Interestingly there is an OCT from before the CNV was active.
